Shri Ganga Saran Sharma

President of Shri Jaipal Singh Sharma Trust, Shri Ganga Saran Sharma is an entrepreneur par excellence. Known for his visionary, avant garde approach, he has been a leader in setting up teaching medical institutions in western Uttar Pradesh and is the founder of G.S. University. The University runs a well-equipped medical college, an ayurveda college, a nursing college and a pharmacy college at Pilkhuwa, and essays excellence in healthcare via its 1130-bedded super specialty hospital, a dedicated cancer research institute and a 200-bedded ayurvedic hospital, where services are offered at an affordable cost. Concurrently, he is also the Chairman of Shree Bankey Bihari Educational Society which runs a dental college offering BDS and MDS programmes at Masuri, Uttar Pradesh. Shri Ganga Saran Sharma is a recipient of the prestigious 35th TP Jhunjhunwala National Excellence Award for his abiding effort to preserve the essence and shape of medical education in the country.
